Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s first female gymnast to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman, when she was 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles has won silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise before her debut in 2011 in the elite division of gymnastics competition. In just two short years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of effort for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercises -- helped to set her above the others.
