Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top charts once she was noticed by the general public in the year 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
